This is the Marathi version of the autobiography of the Former Minister in charge of External Affairs, Natwar Singh, called One Life Is Not Enough.
Summary of the Book
This autobiography talks about the veteran’s experiences in the political corridors of Delhi. After serving as a bureaucrat for 31 years, Natwar Singh joined the Congress Party in 1984, and became a Minister of State in the Rajiv Gandhi’s council in 1985. He was a part of some of the most significant political decisions of independent India, such as Indo-China talks and the creation of Bangladesh. Singh became the Minister for External Affairs in 2002, but his dynamic career saw its end with the Volcker Controversy in 2005, which he talks about in this title, along with several other events. He also describes the times of Pakistan under Zia-ul-Haq’s rule during the 1980s, Indo-Chinese and Indo-USSR relations among other political events of India and the world.
About K. Natwar Singh
Kunwar Natwar Singh was born on May 16, 1931. He studied in some of the most reputed institutions, including the Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University, and Peking University in China. After serving in the IFS for about 31 years, he joined politics. He was honoured with the Padma Bhushan in 1984. Singh was a cabinet minister and served as the Minister of External Affairs of India, until his resignation, post the Volcker Report Controversy.
