Five Point Someone

Five Point Someone (Telugu) is the debut novel written by Chetan Bhagat, which revolves around the life of three young lads who land themselves in a mess, while pursuing their dreams at IIT-Delhi.
Summary Of The Book
Five Point Someone (Telugu) is a novel that is set in the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and is based on the lives of the main characters Ryan, Alok, and Hari. The three have a bad start to their degree at IIT by flunking in their first class test. Things slowly get worse, and they find themselves being the weakest students in their class.
Five Point Someone (Telugu) deals with their experiences at IIT and the rigorous syllabus, which causes their zeal to dip. While most of the novel keeps its readers in splits, certain parts get serious, such as the sections that concern their parents. The book also highlights the attempts made by the three friends to beat the grading system, along with Hari’s fling with Neha, who is actually Prof. Cherian’s daughter. Prof. Cherian is the head of the department of Mechanical Engineering.
This telugu version of Five Point Someone (Telugu) is definitely worth a read. It is considered one of the highest selling English novels in India.
