Relive the magic of Karna, the first son of Kunti and the son of Surya in this amazing graphic novel from Amar Chitra Katha. This Tamil translation of the original captures the magic and thrill of the original.
Summary of the Book
Conceived by Kunti with the help of the sun-god, Karna was the first child born of Kunti's gift. Rejected by his own mother due to her fears that her chastity would be questioned, Karna was raised by a simple family. However, he yearned to learn the arts of war under an able master. He pretended to be a chaste brahmin, and joined the gurukul of Parashurama, the supreme master of all martial arts. However, he was cursed when Parasurama found out, and he was doomed to forget his skills at the moment of his greatest need. Known for his supreme honesty and honour, Karna lived a life of Dharma and always kept his word. His journey allied him besides Duryodhana, the eldest of the Kauravas and he fought the five Pandavas, his half-brothers through Kunti. Doomed to a life of misfortune, Karna's story is one of the greatest tragedies of the Mahabharata.
